Text Box: Pat Beans grew up on a farm in Nebraska. She and her husband worked hard building a business of production management for dairymen in five southwest states. Now that she is retired, she is having fun with painting and you never know what she is going to do next. She creates beautiful transparent watercolors, then goes wild with abstract acrylics.
She has taken classes with some well known artists, read a lot of books and magazines, and has had fun just playing around with colors. Some of those instructors who influenced her the most are Timothy J. Clark, Mary DeLoyht Arendt, Betsy Dillard Stroud and Dick Phillips.
Pat belongs to several art groups in the valley and has served on the board of most of them. She is quick to point out that she has some wonderful friends in the art world and loves living in Arizona. Way to go, Pat. Don’t stop now.

Original Fine Art Paintings for your Home, and your Business

“From all my years and experiences, I have so much beauty stored in my mind and in my heart, that I can hardly wait to get it all on paper or canvas.  Okay!!  So not all my years and experiences have been beautiful.  The dark spots and the troubles help to make us what we are today.  But I have tucked those away in the gray hair and the wrinkles and I try to ignore them.  Water media is a wonderful way in which to experiment.  Now that retirement age has arrived, I’m enjoying every minute.”
